What is in the pattern

  1. The cartoon

    Every piece numbered

The whole panel at a glance, each piece numbered in the order you lay it, with the glass letter on it.

  2. Full-size pages

    Cut straight from it

The pattern at 1:1 on Letter pages with overlap marks and a check square, so you never scale it at a copy shop.

  3. The glass list

    Buy it once

Square feet of each glass with cutting waste, the copper foil, the solder and the came for the frame, in the palette you pick.

Checked before it is drawn

  • No piece too small to cut or too big to hold in lead
  • No sharp points that snap while you grind
  • Every piece fits the opening and nothing overlaps
  • The pieces cover the whole opening, sampled point by point

Measure before you buy

Measure the opening the glass sits in, not the visible glass: for a window sash, the rabbet; for a cabinet door, the back of the frame opening. Take off 1/8 in each way so the panel drops in. How to measure.
